Move your club to Lane4

Bring your members and swimmers across from your current software or spreadsheet, without retyping them.

   Export your current data

   Export your swimmers from your current system as a CSV file, or use the membership spreadsheet you already keep, or download Lane4's template from the import screen. Include each swimmer's name, date of birth, gender, National Membership Number and squad, and their parents' names and email addresses.

   Import it

   On Swimmers, choose Import and drop in the file. Check what Lane4 thinks each column holds, then review: new swimmers, changes to existing ones, any possible matches to confirm, and rows that need fixing. Nothing is saved until you choose Import, and importing the same file again won't create duplicates.

3. 3

   Invite the parents

   Tick the option to email invitations to parents who aren't on Lane4 yet. When each one joins and you approve them, they're linked to their swimmers automatically.
