Less admin for your club's volunteers.
Lane4 brings your members, swimmers, meet entries and club communication into one place, and exports meet entries ready to import into Hy-Tek or SPLASH. No more spreadsheets, retyping or chasing parents.
Where your volunteers' evenings go
Running a swimming club means hours of admin for a handful of volunteers. Lane4 takes on the repetitive parts.
Member lists in spreadsheets that are out of date the day they're shared
One club register: members join with your club code, you approve them, and parents keep their own details current
Chasing parents for meet entries over WhatsApp and email
Invite every eligible swimmer at once; parents accept or decline in the app and you see who's replied
Checking every swimmer's times against a printed qualifying sheet
Lane4 checks each swimmer's best time against the meet's qualifying, consideration or upper-limit times
Retyping entries into Team Manager, with typos to match
Download entries ready to import into Hy-Tek or SPLASH
Notices lost in a busy group chat
Club and squad noticeboards with push and email, plus club chat and private groups
Built around how swimming clubs actually run
For the committee members, coaches, team managers and parents who keep a club going.
Everyone in the club in one register, with the right access for each role.
- Email invites, and approval before anyone sees club data
- Roles for committee posts, coaches, officials, helpers and parents
- Swimmers organised in squads, linked to their parents
- Medical notes and emergency contacts kept by parents, visible to coaches
From the host's meet pack to entries the host can import, without retyping.
- Create a meet by importing the host's Hy-Tek meet file (.ev3 or .hy3)
- Qualifying, consideration and upper-limit times applied by licence level
- Eligibility check and a selection grid for coaches
- Parents accept or decline entries; you track who has paid
Entries leave Lane4 in the formats meet software reads.
- Hy-Tek entries (.hy3), as Team Manager produces
- SDIF (.sd3) for Hy-Tek and other meet software
- Lenex for SPLASH Meet Manager
- Hy-Tek Meet Events (.ev3) when you host a meet
Reach the right people without another group chat.
- Club and squad noticeboards, with comments

- Club Chat and private groups for trips and camps
Training, meets and club events in one calendar.
- Training timetable and club events
- Meets added to the calendar automatically

Questions clubs ask
What does Lane4 cost?
£495 per club, per year. That covers every feature for everyone in your club.
Does Lane4 work with Hy-Tek Meet Manager and SPLASH?
Yes. Lane4 exports meet entries as a Hy-Tek .hy3 file (the same format Team Manager produces), as SDIF, and as Lenex for SPLASH. It can also read a host's Hy-Tek meet file to set up a meet for you.
How do we move our club from our current software?
Send us an export of your members and swimmers from your current system or spreadsheet, and we'll import it into Lane4 for you. Your members then join with your club code, and you link parents to their swimmers as you approve them.
Can parents use Lane4 on their phones?
Yes. Lane4 runs in any modern phone or computer browser, with nothing to install. Push notifications work on Android and desktop browsers; on iPhone, parents add Lane4 to their Home Screen first.
Who can see our club's data?
Only your club's approved members, and each only what their role allows. Parents see their own swimmers, not everyone's. Club data is stored in Google Cloud data centres in the EU.
Does Lane4 connect to Swim England rankings?
Not directly yet. You can paste a swimmer's best times from swimmingresults.org, and Lane4 uses them for qualifying checks and entries.
